This is the fourth book in the Ace Securities series and I am sad to see it end. But in the end, there is a new series coming that I can not wait to read.
Felicity Jones is the strong BFF of Grace, she has been in Castle Rock for about five years. No one has questioned her about her past or her family. She seems to have her life in order until the day she wants the part of the money she gave Cole to help them start the gym. Why doesn't everyone start to question her why she wants to leave? She doesn't want to tell them secret, she just needs to run before "HE" gets to close to her.
Ryder Sinclair comes to Castle Rock to get to know his 1/2 brothers. When he goes with his brothers to see what is going on with Felicity, he immediately knows she is running from someone. He wants to protect her or he will die trying. He wants her to tell him why she wants/needs to run but he will not rush her to tell him. Ryder is beginning to have feelings for her that he has never felt before. He knows that he has to tell her about his past and maybe she will tell him what is going on with her.
Can Felicity trust Ryder to protect her and keep her friends safe? Will Ryder be able to keep her safe and let his brothers know he is there to help them keep everyone safe? In the end, will the Anderson triplets accept Ryder as their brother?
I love this series and I think Felicity and Ryder might be my favorite. I think you could read these as standalone stories but I recommend reading them in order, that way you don't miss anything.

OK, so, I know this will come as a complete surprise to anyone who knows me, I LOVED THIS BOOK!! I'd been hoping from the start of the series that Felicity would get her own story and this book was well worth the wait. Ryder is simply wonderful, strong, insightful and intuitive (at least when it comes to Felicity). Felicity is a strong woman that has been through a heck of a lot in her life, and she can finally let down all of her walls and rely on someone else for a change once Ryder storms into her life. I adored catching up with the Anderson boys and their women. All of the characters are fabulous, the writing is top notch and I adored the plot. I absolutely hated the bad guy and what he put everyone through. Plus we got to meet a new team of protective alpha men that will be another series. This book ROCKED, I can't say enough positive things about it. Thanks Susan Stoker for another fabulous book!
Felicity has been on the run for ten years from Joesph Waters. He had harassed her and made her life a living hell. She makes a nice home in Castle Rock. Everything seems fine until she starts getting messages from Joseph again. Intent to leave town she is stopped by the Anderson triplets from Ace Security and their newly discovered half brother, Ryder. They are intent on helping and protecting her.

Once Ryder lays eyes on her, he knows that Felicity is his to protect. I liked the pace of this book. It was suspenseful without dragging things on. Ryder and Felicity’s relationship moved at a realistic pace. Ryder was all alpha and let Felicity know that she was his. It was kind of sexy to see him claim her so earlier on in the story.

There are little twists, turns and subplots within this story making it an exciting read. Susan Stoker has done it again. I hope that this series continues. At least for one more book. Cole has some claiming to do.
CLAIMING FELICITY by Susan Stoker. This is the long awaited book four of the Ace Security series. And, happily, I can report that Ms. Stoker did not disappoint. Having met Felicity in the previous books (while I recommend reading, not necessary to read this one), I truly like her. She comes across as one tough cookie, but underneath is all she is sweet and kind and vulnerable. Ryder, our uber alpha Hero, strides into town and takes no prisoners. I have to say, I think Ryder is Ms. Stokers most alpha yet. Honestly, it did take me a bit to warm up to him as he was so over the top caveman but, once I did, can we say LOVE? The story is filled with action, suspense, love and family - all things that, for me, make a great tale. One of the common themes of Ms. Stoker's works is family. The love and support and importance of those that one considers family (not always blood relations) is loud and clear and makes my heart sing. Thank you, Ms. Stoker, for once again, writing a tale that I couldn't put down and want to read over and over.
I hate to give poor reviews but this one earned it. I pre-ordered it so that I'd have it on release day and stopped reading another book so that I could read this one. Both were mistakes on my part. The story starts out interestingly enough. Felicity is a strong, likeable heroine who is on the run from her past. Ryder is the alpha hero who meets Felicity at the same time that he connects with brothers he never knew. Great premise but things take a turn for the ugly by Chapter 3. Ryder falls instantly in love and his language is stilted and repetitive; Felicity, who was so independent and confident in previous books in the series, is borderline helpless in this one and defers to the hero constantly; the four smart brothers overlook the most simplistic of solutions to protect her; and the plot predictability is a surprise given the talent Ms Stoker has demonstrated in almost every other book that I've read by her. If you want to try this author out--and I recommend that you do because she is unquestionably talented--pick almost any other book that she has penned. I'll leave it at that. Okay, one more thing 5-stars for the bedroom scenes which are hot.
